Unfortunately, No. We are focused exclusively on assisting Australian senior secondary school students considering tertiary level education and related professions only.

No, you’ll find them more interesting than difficult to complete. Remember to answer the questions honestly as they relate to the person you are.  Also, remember that these are not tests but assessments designed to find out about you and your individual preferences.

It should only take you about 30 minutes to complete the assessments. Make sure you find a nice quiet spot, free from distraction to complete them. Don’t forget to watch the assessment video prior to starting the assessment.

After you complete the assessment, our team carefully reviews your responses to prepare a personalised report. This process usually takes a few days and ensures that your results are accurate, tailored, and meaningful.

We need a few days to prepare your personalised feedback report which we will send via a secure link to your nominated email address and a hard copy to your home, or school address, depending on which you prefer.

We usually send your personalised video feedback about a week after you receive your report. This gives you time to review your report prior to viewing your feedback video.

Yes, your preferences can change as you mature and gain a better understanding of yourself. We focus only on assessing senior secondary school students who generally have a strong level of self awareness and a clear understanding of what preferences and strengths they have.

Most students find that their results reflect them well. But if something doesn’t feel quite right, you can email us at questions@careerminded.com.au and we’ll be happy to review your report with you.

The university guide is updated yearly – so the version you are referencing was most likely updated within the last 3 – 6 months, if not more recently.

Of course! – we are on this journey together. We set a 3 month limit to encourage you to focus on the decision making process rather than letting it drag out. The sooner you make your decisions regarding potential future study options the sooner you can start focusing on getting the best results during the final stages of your secondary school education.   • Your school’s Careers Counsellor receives secure online access to each student’s assessment results.
  • We support school career expos and information nights to help students and parents better understand the Career Minded approach.

About Aptitude Testing

Career Minded does not use aptitude testing.

We believe that the potential drawbacks of aptitude tests—particularly their tendency to suggest fixed limitations—can negatively impact a student’s confidence and self-concept during career exploration.

Current research shows that aptitude tests offer an incomplete picture of a student’s future potential. Instead, we focus on a strengths-based, personalized approach that encourages exploration, growth, and flexibility.

Sharing and Use of Personal Information

Career Minded Australia does not share individual details or personal data with any third-party individuals, entities, or organisations. Payments are directly provided to the payment provider, Stripe in our case. Career Minded has no access to nor stores your payment details.

Any other data we collect and use is only for research purposes designed to improve our service and improve general understanding relating to career exploration and is used in a non-individual manner ensuring that individuals who utilise Career Minded’s service are unidentifiable. We take reasonable steps, at all times, to ensure the protection of your personal information.

Use of Personal information

For each visitor to reach the site, we expressively collect the following non-personally identifiable information: what Career Minded videos are viewed and how long individuals spend on the careerminded.com.au site.

Career Minded Australia reserves the right to make amendments to this privacy policy at any time. If you have objections to the privacy, you should not access or use the site.

Refund Policy

If you are in anyway not satisfied with the service Career Minded Australia has provided to you, please contact us to discuss an agreed upon compensation which may include a full refund of your investment.

After you complete our assessments, we examine your responses and produce your personalised report. This usually takes a few days and is an important part of the process to ensure you receive an accurate and relevant report, that best describes you. Those who offer you an Immediate results service means that your assessment profile is generated solely by a computer and has not been reviewed for consistency and accuracy.
